So far I have tried to throw two parties, and both of them have bombed. At both parties I made sure there was food, pizza at one and Chinese at the other. I have the stereo playing, and plenty of fun things to do. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. I even have a bar at one of the parties to see if that would make a difference. I make sure the host is interacting with her guest. Nothing I'm doing is helping in improving the party score. I'm not sure why but after they dance, everyone is wanting, and taking baths as well. What can I do to get this score to improve? Oh yes one party was at a Greek house at the university, and the other was a house party that a teen has thrown for all her friends.

I'm not exactly sure myself, one party I had was terrible, but I recently had a wedding party at a house, there was no music, the buffet table was set up, the guests weren't even in their seats when the bride and groom got married. The roommate did a toast and they had cake but the hosts didn't really spend time with the guests, and I got a high score. Maybe part of the score depends on the individual guests and their relationship with the host?

I don't think there is any one thing that makes up the score. Just make sure the guests are having fun and have a good relationship with the host. Make it eventful, but without that dreaded birthday cake. Fire hazard that is.

Toasting sets also help out a lot. I've had a few good wedding parties, and all I've done with those is get married, cut the cake, and then have everyone doing toasts the rest of the time, and everyone likes it.
