I read on the link from FB about a few things in the game.... 1. There are not suppose to be rabbit holes in the base game. 2. There are two worlds that you can travel between in the base game. 3. You keep your relationships when you travel. 4. There is now a pregnancy test option. 5. Mother's can breast feed. 6. (Saw a pic on the page) the newborns have legs again 7. (Saw another pic) the pregnant sims look more....pregnant I guess lol, of course you probably already know that everything is suppose to be maternity wear 8. There is no repoman, your water or electricity will be turned off if you don't pay the bills. 9. If you wish to see the Grim Reaper, starving is no longer really easy to achieve, your sim's should decide to eat but I suppose that depends on the sim lol. 10. Children have homework before going to school the first time you'll find it in their inventory, I think it gives them a chance to get ahead. 11. Because of the way the worlds are set up it's easier to play multiple families. Just a few things that stick out for me I can't wait for the game to come out, no matter what anyone says lol.

I'm still excited, even though I am disappointed over the lack of toddlers. I'm still not pleased with the no open world or CASt, either, but I can live with it. Especially after playing TS2.
I hadn't heard about the pregnancy test option; that's really cool! I'm also pretty excited over the violin and cupcake machine, since I'm a weirdo.

I'm not so concerned about the loss of toddlers, the article says the individual neighborhoods are suppose to be open worlds(haven't seen enough pictures) they just changed how they show up. Which I think is better because that should help them get control of the routing issues. I don't mind the no CASt, the best modders are already working on custom content and what not, so we shouldn't have to wait too long for a mod to fix what we what, and this is just the base game, the person who wrote the article says the creators are reading FB posts. Perhaps if enough people, politely, mention what they want, the first expansion pack will bring back the things we lost. I mean if there really aren't any rabbit holes, among other things, then we're getting a lot in place for now.

Yes, the neighborhoods will be like an open world, but there are only 5 lots per neighborhood. So you can go to your house, a neighbor's house or two, and maybe a community lot if it's close by without a loading screen, but if you wanted to go to a park or the gym or whatever is outside your neighborhood, you have to sit through a loading screen. As long as the loading screens are TS2 length or shorter, I don't really mind too much, though.
I still think that they should give us toddlers, at least, for free, since that's kind of a basic to the game, but as long as the EP they're released in has more than just the toddlers (Generations stuff and maybe preteens, too?), I wouldn't mind that much either. I was hoping that it would be a more family focused game, but it doesn't sound like it will be. Maybe it'll prove me wrong, though. I'll find out when I get it. I haven't preordered yet, but I will as soon as I get my hands on the money.

I suppose it's a personal taste sort of thing, the one who wrote the article said the loading screens were pretty short, I'm not so worried about any of things lost, I just like to see where their going next. There were so many glitches they needed to take a step back to fix it, they'll probably add a patch or something to get toddlers back if enough people ask politely enough. who knows.

A lot of people are choosing to wait anyways for the price to go down, I'll get it as soon as I can because it appears that where I live the games sell like hot cakes. I'm glad to see so many changes and additions, but at the same time it's just the base game I don't care what's not in it.

I'm excited for some of the new features, and although I'm disappointed over the lack of toddlers, it doesn't deter me in the slightest! I'm not going to buy it straight away, though, because I want the price to go down, and I think I'm getting it for Christmas. That way I can settle into my new university without having the distraction of my new shiny game, too, hahaha. But yeah, can't wait to play it once I can.

That's the spirit I don't have much to say about the loss of toddlers, because so many people, including me, had glitches with stretched toddlers for no reason. Toddlers are actually quite easy to glitch, and they didn't say we'd never see them again, I personally would prefer they take out ANYTHING and work on the individual glitches first no matter how small they may be.

I'm just not as excited over it yet. I haven't seen anything that makes me wanna go out and grab it. I like the way the sims look, I hate the hair, and the fact we need CC to give them eyelashes. I like to be able to customize my sims to suit my tastes, and without CASt. . .well hopefully they add it back in. I don't care about the toddlers or the pools, I just home it doesn't cost and arm and a leg to get them back.

lol, I'm just a die hard sims fan and love seeing anything fresh and new in any way, I've played way too many games in my days to not play it, besides it's only the base game. They have plenty of time to work out whatever problems they had and add in more things people want.

I was too. I loved TS2 and TS3, but with it being borked I can`t play and sometimes modelling can take the fun out of it. I'm glad for the break. Maybe TS2U will renew my love of the game. Now that I am on vacation, more time to play

So I finally saw that the jobs are indeedd rabbit holes so your sims leave for a short time, however to help push your career performance up to get your promotion you now have daily tasks to complete. I find myself amused watching the simgurus play the game.

I haven't watched much from the trailers. I saw a bit here and there. Only have to wait til tomorrow and I'm off work as well. First thing I will be doing is making sure the CC I made is tested in game.
