Create the perfect pet for your Sims to train, play with, and love throughout a lifetime. Pick everything from their paws to their personality. Choose from dozens of popular dog and cat breeds like Schnauzer and Siamese. Or create a unique cat or dog by modifying their features and body type. Your Sims can teach their pets tricks, take them for a romp in the park to meet other furry friends, or buy them toys, beds, and much more. But pets have minds of their own-so expect the unexpected!

It's odd(in a good way) playing with pets that don't get stuck often and don't stretch at random into creepy figures, I can say I definitely prefer ts2 pets.

I like them more, too, since they're lower maintenance. They just do their own thing.

Yeah, it is nice. When I went back to play, I was like why can't I select the dog. D'oh right, they're non-playable. I kinda wish TS3 pets had jobs though, but that may be too much.

I'm content with just training them how to hunt. They can make really good money that way. That's really the only reason my sims get pets in TS3, is to send them out hunting. But then they need attention and stuff and my sim needs to skill or something, so I usually don't bother.

Lol, the ts3 pets can be useful but I'm not so fond of them because dogs and cats make my homes lag more and sometimes when they stretch it takes forever to get them back to normal.

Huh, I've never had pets make my homes lag. Lucky me! I've had a relatively lag-free game since I installed Overwatch (other than the 3 am lag, of course). Have you tried getting that?

I have overwatch but I don't have a fantastic computer, I had worse problems but overwatch took care of those, some people are much luckier lol, I don't mind the lag I'm more concerned with it running at all. However I'm on a sims 3 hiatus, ts2 runs so perfectly on this computer

Ah, my old computer was like that. I think I got TS3 to run on it once. Then when she died, I got this one. She runs TS3 okay. CAS takes a bit to load but I have a lot of CC in my game. As long as I keep it on a low graphic setting, I'm fine. TS2 is perfect on this one, too. I'm still switching between games, but I lean toward TS2 because it doesn't take like half an hour to load up.

Oh shoot, there was a cute moment and I took a picture only to find that the pictures were set on small again, so it's hard to see. I had my sim start training their adopted dog, Leo, a trick, and I suppose this made Leo consider her his master. A few sim hours later she started showing, because she was pregnant, and she went to sleep. Leo got in his pet bed but seemed to decide that he wanted to be with his expecting master. He went upstairs and hopped on the bed to sleep in there with her, forcing her fiancee to sleep in the guest bedroom. It just seemed cute because he was friends with her first but never showed as much interest in her as he did then, now he just likes to follow her at random. Also on the phone it lets you register your pet breed, and for no real reason I said that Leo was a Chowserington even though he sort of looks like a doberman lol. Okay that's it, bye now

I remember when Pets first came out, my computer hated it....crashed every time! But now, on a better comp. it works great! I have little furry friends running all over the place! LOL!!
